TOBA TEK SINGH: Faisalabad anti-terrorism court judge Raja Shahid Zameer on Tuesday summoned joint investigation team members probing into the case of attack on the house of former interior minister Rana Sanaullah Khan during May 9, 2023, riots.

On the last hearing, the court had directed JIT members, including DSP Amer Waheed and Inspector Abdul Jabbar to submit the challan of the case, but they failed to abide by the direction over which judge ordered them to appear and submit their reply on the next hearing.

Meanwhile, the court handed down 15-day jail and Rs5,000 fine to an activist of a banned religious outfit. Convict Akhtar Hussain of Karachi was arrested by CTD when he was distributing pamphlets in Faisalabad.
