KARACHI: Three die in accidents

KARACHI, March 22: Three persons died in two separate road accidents in different parts of the city late on Tuesday night. Police said that a woman and a rickshaw driver died when they were hit by a speeding car behind the National Stadium. Both the victims were rushed to the nearby private hospital where they were pronounced dead.

The woman was later identified as Tasleem Fatima, an employee of the PIA.

In Mauripur, a pedestrian was knocked down by a speeding bus.

Police said that a young man was crossing Mauripur Road when he was hit by a speeding bus.

Following the accident, enraged people blocked the main road and pelted stones at the passing vehicles.
