KARACHI, March 20: The International Mushaira ‘Sakinan-i-Shahr-i-Quaid’ will be held at National Stadium on Wednesday. In this connection, Gulshan-i-Iqbal Town Municipal Officer Matanat Ali Khan visited the stadium to review the cleanliness and beautification arrangements.

He also reviewed the arrangements made for the upcoming international exhibition to be held at Karachi Expo Centre.

Matanat Ali issued directives to the officials concerned in connection with the cleanliness around the venue of the exhibition. He also directed to cut the bushes around National Stadium whitewashing the walls.

For beautification, he ordered DTO Parks to complete the refurbishment and other related work along the main roads as soon as possible.

“All preparations must be completed before the Mushaira,” he ordered. —APP
