GIKI faculties get ISO certification

SWABI: Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology has reached a significant milestone as its faculties of civil engineering, chemical engineering and material sciences and engineering have secured the ISO 9001:2015 certification, Prof Dr Fazal Ahmad Khalid, Rector GIK Institute, claims.

Talking to mediapersons, he said the prestigious certification, awarded by DAS Pakistan Limited, was a testament to the institute’s unwavering commitment to quality management and excellence in engineering education.

“ISO 9001:2015 is a globally recognised standard that outlines the criteria for a quality management system (QMS),” he said.
