DERA MURAD JAMALI: A man, accompanied by accomplices, shot and killed his wife and her alleged paramour in the name of honour in the Chattar area of Nasirabad district on Thursday.

According to police, the incident occurred in Ghulam Muhammad Siddique Mughairi Goth, where the accused, with the help of another individual, opened fire on the victims, killing them on the spot.

Police rushed to the area after receiving information about the double murder and transported the bodies to District Hospital in Dera Murad Jamali.

The deceased were identified as Reshma and Ashiq Ali. Following the completion of medico-legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to their families.

Police confirmed that the incident was an honor killing.
