MARDAN: A prominent property dealer was shot dead by unknown assailants inside his house in the jurisdiction of Hoti police station in the wee hours of Thursday.

Police officials said that the deceased property dealer identified as Mohammad Ismail Khan was shot dead by unknown attackers when he was asleep inside his house.

They quoted Saifullah and Bilal, brothers of the victim, as saying that their brother arrived late on Sunday night from Islamabad and went to sleep in the lawn of his house. They, however, said that they woke up after hearing gunshots at around 2.45am and found their brother in a pool of blood.

An FIR was registered against unknown killers on the complaint of the brothers of slain realtor. They told the police that they had no enmity with anybody.
