ISLAMABAD: The Australian volleyball team arrived here on Sunday for a three-match series against Pakistan.

The series will commence on May 28 here at the Pakistan Sports Complex with subsequent matches on May 29 and 30. All matches will start at 6:30pm.

Led by Nehemiah Mote, the Australian squad includes Luke Perry, Arshdeep Dosanjh, Jackson Holland, Trent O’dea, Matthew Aubrey, Max Senica, Beau Graham, Thomas Heptinstall, Sam Flowerday, Nicholas Butler, Ethan Garrett, William D’arcy Miles and Jacob Baird.

Daniel Ilott will serve as head coach, accompanied by James Begley, Alec Walker, and Brendan Garlick as team coaches.

Pakistan, fresh from their victorious campaign in the Central Asian Volleyball Championship, will be captained by Murad Jehan.

The team also includes Kashif Naveed (deputy captain), Waleed Khan, Murad Khan, Aimal Khan, Usman Faryad Ali, Fakhar Ud Din, Afaq Khan, Abdul Zaheer, Musawer Khan, Mohammad Hamad, Haider Ali, Nasir Ali and Mohammad Yaseen.

Ruben Wolochin is the national team’s head coach.
