KOHAT: A youngster allegedly killed his father after a brawl in Khawaja Abad area here on Saturday.

Wife of the deceased, Maqbool Khan, registered an FIR with the police after the postmortem of the body was carried out at the KDA hospital.

The FIR was registered under the section 302 of Pakistan Penal Code. She reported to the police that a dispute had been going on between Shoeb, 17, and his father. On Saturday, she said when Maqbool was returning home, Shoeb shot him dead at the doorstep and fled away.

The police said family originally belonged to Warshand area of Lachi tehsil, and was currently residing in Khwaja Abad area of Kohat tehsil.
