KOHAT: A man was killed allegedly by his rivals on Wednesday night after he was released from jail on completion of his 25 years imprisonment.

Police said that they received information that a dead body was lying in the graveyard of Naway Kallay area. They said that the deceased identified as Bilal. They said that the deceased was released from prison a few days ago after completing his 25 years imprisonment.

Lal Mohammad, the father of the deceased, nominated Abdullah and Abid in the FIR.

In another incident, 24-year-old Saddar Ayub was shot dead in Ittehad Colony of Nawaz Garhi area. The deceased originally belonged to Esakhel area of Orakzai tribal district.

His uncle Sajid nominated Nizam and Sher Mohammad alias Shero in the FIR. He alleged that Saddar Ayub was killed to avenge the murder of Bilal. He added that in the past his other nephew Abid was nominated in the murder of Bilal.

Meanwhile, a young man was arrested for killing his mother over a brawl three months ago in Junglekhel area.

Police said that Ahmed Shah had gone into hiding after killing his mother. He was declared a proclaimed offender.

Meanwhile, police recovered a fourth grader girl from the mountains of Baraka during an intelligence-based operation.

The father of the girl, Jannat Bibi, had filed a case of her abduction three days ago.

Addressing a press conference, SP Farooq Zaman said that they launched an operation for recovery of the girl and arrested her alleged kidnapper Taj Meer. He said that he was shifting her through secret mountainous routes of Boraka to some other destination when they arrested him.

The girl told police that she had gone with the man of her sweet will to marry him and her mother was aware of the matter.
