LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Central Punjab general secretary Hammad Azhar has indicated that the party leaders, workers and supporters will stage street protests after Ramazan against high electricity bills and other public matters.

“This unelected government will not survive the summers,” he said.

In a tweet on Sunday, the PTI leader said the party lawyers, activists, workers and the civil society will take to the streets after Ramazan. He stated the unbelievably high electricity bills and pending IMF price adjustments due to two years of the PDM government’s incompetence would spell the end of Form-47 circus.

“This frail, unelected and hated government will not survive the summers,” he added.
