LAHORE: Expecting a large number of visitors on Eidul Fitr, Lahore Zoo Safari has begun preparations to facilitate public. The safari administration plans to set up stalls for providing information about captive breeding of wildlife.

A number of steps have been taken for comprehensive Eid arrangements, which include CCTV cameras. The management has written to police department, bomb disposal squad and civil defense to provide the zoo with manpower during Eid days.

The Punjab Wildlife department staff from other areas of the province will also be deputed at the zoo safari.

The visitors would be able to see new animals at the safari and a newly-built fish aquarium.

No decision has yet been made regarding opening the Zoo on Eid due to ongoing repair work.
