The official Lebanese National News Agency has said that one person was killed in “a hostile air strike” on a car heading towards to the town of Al-Bazouriyeh in the Tyre district in the south of the country, Al Jazeera reports.

Ambulances rushed to the scene to transport the wounded, the agency said, adding that the car was engulfed in fire.

The agency, quoting civil defence officers, said a second person was in the car without confirming his or her health status. The Lebanese media shared videos, showing the car on fire.
