NAWABSHAH: A man killed a woman with a wooden object and attacked her suspected ‘lover’ with an axe, leaving him seriously injured, in the name of honour in Imam Bux Rind village in the jurisdiction of 60-Miles police station on Monday.

Ms Reshma, 21, died instantly but her ‘lover’ Ghulam Mustafa Marri suffered severe injuries in the attack and died later.

Police removed the body and the injured to Daur taluka hospital.

The injured was later shifted to Peoples Medical University Hospital, Nawabshah, where he succumbed to his injuries, said police officials.

They said that they had arrested two suspects identified as Barkat Ali Rind, brother-in-law of the victim, and his friend Saeen Bux Rind.

Stray dogs bite 12 men

At least a dozen people were bitten by stray dogs in Shahdadpur town on Monday.

Some of the victims who reported at government hospital were identified as Mohammad Ibrahim, Amanullah,

Wali Mohammad, Allah Dino, Sajoda and others.
