The National Party has announced its support for PPP’s presidential candidate Asif Ali Zardari.

In a statement, NP spokesperson Ali Ahmed Langove said, “We will vote for Asif Ali Zardari for the president in the Senate and the provincial assemblies.”

He further said that after political discussions between the two parties, both had “agreed on eight points”, which include ensuring the recovery of missing persons and implementation on the 18th Amendment.

The agreed-upon points also include giving Balochistan a share of the revenue earned via the Gwadar port and construction of dams.
