Largest tunnel discovered in Gaza destroyed, claims Israeli army

Israel’s army has said it destroyed the largest tunnel uncovered so far in the Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reports.

A statement on X said the tunnel, which had been first discovered on December 16, had several branches.

The statement said the tunnel was dug from northern Gaza towards Israel, but did not reach the Israeli territory.
