Former defence minister Khawaja Asif has clarified that the PML-N is still in talks with the MQM-P.

“Our basic principles with them have been completely settled,” he said in response to a question regarding the straining of ties between the two parties. Asif passed these remarks on a Geo News programme.

He added that matters pertaining to governorship and ministries will be settled at the start of next week.

“We don’t want to break ties with anyone,” the PML-N leader asserted.
