PM Kakar vows to resolve issues till last working day

ISLAMABAD: Caret­aker Prime Minis­ter Anwaarul Haq Kakar on Friday claimed that the caretaker government has resolved longstanding prob­lems within a short span of time to move the country towards economic stability.

Mr Kakar also credited the caretaker government with providing all possible facilities on a priority basis to international investors and business community.

“The caretaker government is committed to continue its efforts to solve the country’s economic problems till its last day of working,” Mr Kakar was quoted as saying in a statement issued by the PM Office.

Separately, while presiding over a meeting to review various issues of K-Electric (KE), the prime minister said the government was striving to remove all obstacles to uninterrupted supply of electricity to people of Karachi.

Mr Kakar hailed the signing of the interconnection agreement betw­een National Transm­ission and Distribution Company and KE.
