KARACHI: Judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and the three High Courts have unanimously suggested “they did not want any increase in their salaries”, but the Government has decided that they will be given some other benefits. This was stated here … by Mr. Abdul Hafeez Pirzada, Federal Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, while talking to newsmen after a meeting of the judges with Prime Minister Bhutto. The Minister said the benefits include residential benefits and conveyance. Mr. Pirzada said the Prime Minister agreed … that the number of judges of the Supreme Court be increased from six to seven.
