KARACHI: Attock Refinery Ltd (ARL) is planning the refinery turnaround to carry out essential maintenance from Feb 10 for about a month.

In a stock filing on Friday, the company said some of the existing units of the refinery would be shut down which would result in a reduction of the refinery’s throughput to around 40pc.

Atlas Honda profit surges: Amid a turbulent 2023 for the entire auto sector and multiple price increases, Atlas Honda Ltd (AHL) profit surged 78.57 per cent to Rs2.5 billion during the quarter ending December 2023 as compared to Rs1.4bn while sales rose to Rs41bn from Rs35bn the same quarter last year.

AHL did not declare any dividend.

FFCL’s earnings jump: Fauji Fertiliser Company Ltd (FFCL) announced an unconsolidated quarterly profit of Rs7.5bn in 4Q2023 (earnings per share at Rs5.86), up 43pc year-on-year while down by 18pc quarter-on-quarter.

It takes full year 2023 earnings to Rs29.7bn (EPS: Rs23.32), up 48pc.

According to Topline Securities, the company also declared a final cash dividend of Rs4.1 per share taking the total cash dividend to Rs15.5 in 2023.
