TAXILA: Former federal minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan will soon be addressing a women convention in Taxila.

This was stated by Chaudhry Nisar’s women wing president Mediha Kokab while addressing a press conference at a local hotel in Wah Cantonment on Wednesday.

Flanked by other leaders of the wing, Ms Kokab said the women convention would serve as a show of power for women voters and supporters in the area.

She said over 50pc population of Chaudhry Nisar’s constituency comprised of women and that the group’s female political workers would play a pivotal role in electioneering, polling and shaping the results of the area.

Ms Kokab said the former federal minister had surprised the political arena and would also surprise his friends and foes in the election.

She said after getting elected, Chaudhry Nisar would execute various development projects in Taxila and Wah and set up girls’ education institutions.
