KARACHI, Feb 22: The City District Government, Karachi, will hold shows for special children in all 18 towns of Karachi, paving way for due recognition of the potential these children may be blessed with.

This was stated by Nasreen Jalil, Naib Nazima Karachi here on Wednesday.

Talking to Jimmy Engineer who called on her, the Naib Nazima said that the special children, despite their limitations, have tremendous talent and that needs to be properly channelized. For this purpose, the Karachi City Government plans to hold special shows for them at regular intervals in all 18 districts.

Nasreen Jalil said it would be through comprehensive planning to streamline capabilities of these children and they would also be provided opportunities to reflect these before general public.

She also appreciated the institutions catering to educational and physical / health care needs of special children.

Jimmy Engineer informed the Naib Nazima that for last four years he had been organizing programmes for special children with the motive to get acceptance for their capacities and their right for due recognition.—APP
