NAB’s prosecution submitted the application to the judicial magistrate Yasir Mehmood since Fawad Chaudhry is on judicial remand and currently detained in the Adiala jail.
The prosecution adopted before the court that Fawad Chaudhry was involved in corruption and corrupt practices and allegedly used his influence in the purchase of land for the project.
The prosecution informed the judge that the NAB chairman had already issued warrants for the arrest of the ex-minister and requested the court to ask the superintendent of the jail to facilitate the investigation team.
