TAXILA: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued voters lists and a polling plan for the upcoming general elections under which 1,015 polling stations would be established to facilitate 1,349,040 voters in the district of Attock.

Moreover, 284 male, 280 female and 451 combine polling stations would be established while there would be 1,015 presiding officers, 6,712 assistant presiding officers and 3,356 polling officers for the conduct of the polling process.

At the provincial level assembly, the number of male and female voters in five constituencies of Attock is as follows: In PP-1 Attock-I, the male voters are 153,633 and female 139,811. In PP-2, there are 126,233 male and 1,16,828 female voters while in PP-3, male voters are 117,322 and female voters are 109,891. In PP-4, there are 143,885 male and 136,262 female voters. In PP-5, the number of male voters is 156,289 and female voters is 148,886. The ECP will announce the election schedule on December 14.

In the National Assembly constituency NA-49 Attock-I, there are 334,246 male and 306,443 female voters while NA-50 Attock-II has 363,116 male and 345,035 female voters.
