DERA GHAZI KHAN: Caretaker Chief MSyed Mohsin Naqvi visited Sardar Fateh Muhammed Buzdar Cardiology Institute, Veterinary Hospital and Livestock Business and Incubation Centre here on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, the CM said the shortage of nurses and paramedical staff would be addressed at the earliest.

He announced imposition of livestock emergency to increase animal production in Bahawalpur and Dera Ghazi Khan.

At the cardiology institute, Naqvi inspected the gamma camera, CT scan and MRI room. He also visited the cafeteria and waiting area of the hospital.

He said a sustainable strategy should be formulated to increase the production of livestock by 10 times. The demand for livestock in the UAE and other countries was increasing.

“During a recent visit to the UAE, discussions on the export of livestock products were encouraging. All possible steps will be taken for livestock in Punjab and best vaccines and injections will also be provided.”
