LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Friday demolished the infrastructure of six illegal housing projects in an operation.

LDA Private Housing Schemes wing teams took action against illegal residential schemes and demolished the sewerage systems, boundary walls, offices and roads of six schemes, including Punjab University Phase-II on Edhi Road, Elegance Homes, Al Nasir Homes and Al Haram Homes, Sandal Bar Scheme on Defense Road and Musa Town.

LDA’s enforcement wing, along with a police, participated in the operation.

Earlier, the LDA teams also conducted a mega operation against defaulters of annual commercialisation fee in Quaid-e-Azam Town.
