KARACHI: Govt aid for Lehri

KARACHI, Feb 17: Sindh Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Sports, Qamar Mansoor, here on Friday, presented a cheque for Rs50,000 to artist Safirullah Lehri for his medical treatment and prayed for his quick recovery. Qamar Mansoor said that the government was also paying a stipend of Rs2500 per month to Lehri as financial support. Lehri expressed his gratitude to the minister for remembering him and extending help on behalf of the government.—APP
