GWADAR: The Balochistan government has established a Technical Working Group (TWG) to craft a new fisheries policy and revise the legal framework, according to a notification released on Monday.

The TWG, chaired by the Secretary of the Fisheries and Coastal Development Department (F&CDD) Balochistan, comprises 26 members, including 10 full members, four observers representing various stakeholders, and two group secretaries for marine and inland fisheries.

The Representative of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) will serve as the Convener for this initiative.
