KARACHI, Feb 14: The death anniversary of Sardar Abdul Rab Nishter, a leader of the Freedom Movement, was observed here under the auspices of Pakistan Himayat Tehrik.

A statement of the organization said a seminar was organized to highlight the role and the services of Sardar Nishter.

The speakers said that Sardar Nishter was a prominent leader of the Pakistan Movement.

They stated that it is imperative to apprise the younger generation of his contributions towards the creation of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the Sub-Continent.

Sardar Nishter was a close lieutenant of Father of the Nation Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, it was further pointed out.

The speakers said that his services for the cause of Pakistan and Ummah would be always remembered.

Later, a delegation visited the grave of Sardar Nishter, laid floral wreath and offered ‘fateha’.—APP
