DERA MURAD JAMALI: The Balochistan caretaker minister for home and tribal affairs has said angry Baloch who wish to assimilate into the mainstream are welcome to do so.

“They should come and play their role in the development of Balochistan,” retired Capt Zubair Ahmed Jamali said while talking to the media after presiding over a law and order meeting during his visit to Nasirabad district on Friday.

“We are ready to welcome those who would join hands with the government for the betterment of the province,” he said while warning that strict measures will be taken against vandals and terrorists.

He directed all divisional officers to work efficiently and focus on resolving people’s issues.

Replying to a question, he said no group had claimed responsibility for the Mastung blast — that claimed 62 lives — and security agencies were investigating the attack.
