RAWALPINDI, Feb 7: Passersby rescued a teenage boy who along with his minor sister had accidentally fallen into a manhole on Jamia Masjid road on Tuesday night, police and witnesses said.

However, they couldn’t find any trace of the girl.

Angry residents of the area gathered on the road in a large number and chanted slogans against the civic authorities who they said were responsible for the tragedy.

The boy was going home with his sister when they fell into the manhole.
