Pesco gets new chief

PESHAWAR: Engineer Qazi Mohammad Tahir has taken over charge as chief executive of the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco).

According to a statement issued here on Thursday, soon after taking charge of the office the CEO started discharging his official responsibilities. He expressed the commitment to utilise all energies for improving the performance of the power company and redressal of public grievances on priority basis.

It was stated that on taking charge of the post, Engineer Qazi Muhammad Tahir was warmly welcomed by the company’s employees. On the occasion, he thanked the staff and expressed hope that the performance of the organisation will further improve through an effective strategy. He will also continue his services as CEO Tesco.
