The magic of friendship bracelets

This is regarding the article “The magic of friendship bracelets” by Mirha Asif (YW, July 29).

I’ve always enjoyed wearing these bracelets, but I didn’t realise they had a history. I agree with the writer that these bracelets remind us of our friends and the wonderful people in our lives.

How to solve a problem

This is with reference to the story “How to solve a problem” by Anoushay Fatima (YW, July 29). The story shared a simple way to solve different challenges, especially when it comes to maths.

One must remember that there is a solution to every problem, so instead of getting stuck thinking about the difficulty, the story suggests we should focus on figuring out how to fix it.

The story “How to solve a problem” by Anoushay Fatima illustrates that having a lot of knowledge is great, but it’s not enough unless you know how to use it. There are many people in the world who are skilled at various things, yet they might not know the right techniques to make their work worthwhile.

So, I think applying your knowledge in solving problems is the key to living a successful life.

A girl’s guide to flying

This is with reference to the story “A girl’s guide to flying” by Maria Bint-e-Amir (YW, August 5). It goes beyond being just a story; it mirrors a reality present in many families. The narrative vividly highlights our society’s perspective, where choices appear pre-set and individuals frequently face restrictions in their professional pursuits.

From my standpoint, it seems as though we haven’t completely embraced the modern world, as many parents still cling to conventional beliefs and compel their children to follow the paths they’ve selected for them.

The way life is

This is regarding the article “The way life is” by Syeda Dua Fatima (YW, August 5). The article gave us useful tips to lead a peaceful life. Sometimes, life becomes really hard and even the smallest of things seem tough. But that’s when we need to stay strong and focused.

The writer also talked about situations where our wishes don’t come true. How we handle these situations depends on how strong we are inside and the writer explained this nicely.
