CHARSADDA, Feb 1: Leader of opposition in the National Assembly Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the death of nationalist leader Khan Abdul Wali Khan is a loss of the Pukhtun nation.

He said that the rich political history of the Pakhtuns would not be complete without mentioning the political struggle of two great freedom fighters, Bacha Khan and Wali Khan.

Maulana Fazl said this during a visit to Wali Bagh here on Tuesday to condole the death of the veteran politician with ANP President Asfandyar Khan Wali and Begum Nasim Wali Khan, the son and widow of Wali Khan, respectively.

Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Gen Ihsanul Haq also visited Wali Bagh to condole the death of Wali Khan with his family.
