CHARSADDA: Three people were killed and one was injured in a firing incident over a family dispute in Hafeez Korona area here on Wednesday, the police said.

The injured, Hamid Khan reported to the Saro police station that he along with his father, Taj Umar and a relative, Hazrat Khan was standing near his house when Owais Khan, Attaullah and Samiullah of Koza Safo area came on a motorcycle and opened indiscriminate fire on them. As a result, he said his father and relative were killed on the spot, while he sustained injuries. However, Kashif of Saro Kallay area reported to the police that Shakirullah and Asghar of Hafeez Korona area shot dead his relative, Attaullah.

The police registered cross-FIRs and started further investigations.
