LAHORE, Jan 31: A joint survey of three katchi abadis in the cantonment will commence from Wednesday (today) and will be completed in eight days.

Lal Kurti, Gandhi Jhallar and Bhatta Hari Ke Road katchi abadis will be surveyed by the representatives of different government departments for two days each. The joint survey teams will demarcate the areas of katchi abadis and procure complete details from the revenue record with the help of patwaris concerned.

The decision to conduct the survey in the Lahore Cantonment Board limits had been taken at a meeting held here on Jan 6 with Punjab katchi abadis director-general in the chair.
