KARACHI, Jan 29: The Transport Department of the city government on the directive of the City Nazim, Syed Mustafa Kamal, has chalked out a comprehensive programme for imparting road safety training to children.

This was stated by EDO Transport Muhammad Athar while talking to a 40-member delegation of trainees of the Transport and Communication Department and the Traffic Police Training Institute, said a statement on Sunday.

Athar said teachers would be trained to teach children in a two-day road safety course, which will begin next week.

The trained teachers would then impart training to students in schools.
