KARACHI: A coach of the Pak Business Express derailed on Sunday morning soon after the train reached the Cantonment Railway Station and its passengers had also disembarked.

According to sources within the Railways, the train was backing up at a speed of about 10km/h to change tracks near the Kalalpul area of Chanesar Goth to get on the washing line when the incident took place because of the tracks being wet from rain.

The incident brought out several local residents of Chanesar Goth to offer their assistance in helping the passengers out of the train but they found the train to be empty.
