ISLAMABAD, Jan 28: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Saturday said that the federal government will provide additional resources to every Balochistan district so that people can benefit from the development programme.

The prime minister was talking to Balochistan Governor Owais Ahmad Ghani and Chief Minister Jam Mohammad Yousaf, who called on him at the Prime Minister’s House.

The prime minister said that the government was determined to establish the rule of law in the province.

He said the government had been paying special attention to the development of Balochistan. In addition, to the provision of funds for development programmes, the government would provide jobs to the youth of the province and more development projects would be launched for the economic uplift of the region.

The governor and chief minister briefed the prime minister about the law and order situation in the province. He was informed that out of the 28 districts of Balochistan, only two tehsils of two districts faced law and order problems.

The claimed that normalcy had returned to the area.

Mr Aziz was also informed about the implementation status of projects under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) and he gave instructions for timely completion of the development schemes.
