KARACHI: Jordanian prince arrives

KARACHI, Jan 28: Jordan and Pakistan have enjoyed close friendly relations and that these ties have stood the test of times. This was stated by Prince Hasan Bin Talal of Jordan while talking to APP on Saturday evening.

The Prince who arrived on a four-day visit was received by Adviser to the Chief Minister on Information, Salahuddin Haider, Consul General of Jordan in Karachi Mohammad Farrukh Qaiser and officials of the foreign office.

Prince Hasan said he was particularly happy to see that Jordan was among the countries contributing to relief efforts in the wake of the Oct 8 earthquake. “This is a sustained contribution, which will continue in the months ahead.”—APP
