KOHAT: Four persons were killed over a land dispute in Mrozai area of Kohat here on Friday, the police said.

Saddar police station officials said that they received a report of firing from Merozai area, and when the policemen reached the scene they found four people lying in a pool of blood. The deceased were identified as Pir Mohammad, Abdul Basit, Abdul Raziq and Sanobar Khan.

The relatives of the deceased nominated two brothers, Omer Zeb and Usman Zeb, in the FIR for the killings over a land dispute.

The police after registration of FIR launched a search operation to arrest the attackers.

Separately, one person was killed another injured when a motorcycle and a car collided on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Wajid Ali, a resident of Bilitang. He was riding the motorcycle. His pillion, namely Ehsanullah belonging to Arakhel area, was injured. He was referred to a Peshawar hospital in precarious condition.

The police said the car coming from Rawalpindi was over-speeding.

The Bilitang police filed a report of the accident and arrested the car driver.
