KASUR, Jan 22: The ruling PML members who had voted for the ARD candidates in the local elections would be taken to task, warns CM’s chief coordinator Kamil Ali Agha. He was speaking to journalists and office-bearers and workers of the ruling party on the eve of its re-organization on behalf of the chief minister here on Sunday. The venue for the meeting was the residence of newly-elected District Naib Nazim Maqsood Sabir.

Prominent among the participants were Hassan Akhtar, provincial minister, Punjab Housing Minister Syed Raza Gillani, former district nazim Rana Imtiaz, MPAs Malik Ahmad Khan and Malik Shahid Gill, MNA Chaudhry M. Illyas and the party leaders.

Senator Kamil Agha emphasized the need for raising the number of party workers who, he said, would be wholeheartedly supported. He also thrashed out the causes of the Q-league ‘failure’ in the recent elections.

The speakers called for maintaining discipline and promoting cooperation in the party.
