The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has reserved its verdict on a petition against the arrest of PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry.

Fawad was presented before the court in line with the directives issued a day earlier. Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb presided over the hearing.

During the hearing, Islamabad Advocate General Jahangir Khan Jadoon said that Fawad was arrest on the night of May 10 from outside the Supreme Court.

He also read out a tweet by the PTI leader in which he said that it was workers’ “duty” to participate in the protests following the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan. He further said that there was a video of Fawad inciting party workers.
