KARACHI, Jan 22: The Managing Director of the KWSB, Brig Iftikhar Haider, on Sunday urged consumers to pay water and sewerage bills on time so that ongoing development projects in the city can be completed in time. He said this while chairing a meeting of water board officials in his office on Saturday, said a statement on Sunday.

He also asked people using the board’s services without acquiring NOCs from authorities or without the KWSB’s permission, to obtain NOCs or permission from the water board’s deputy director of their concerned towns.

He directed the board’s tax department officials to expedite the bills’ recovery process and issue bills to leftover consumers.

He also advised the consumers, who had not received their bills yet, to contact the tax offices of the water board’s consumer centres in Gulshan-i-Iqbal, Awami Markaz or Jamshed Town or the water board’s headquarters at Civic Centre.

Consumers were advised to contact Director Billing KWSB on phone no 9230319 for immediate resolution of their problems regarding bills.—APP
