Member of the UK Parliament, Naz Shah, has echoed calls from human rights organisations expressing alarm at the suspension of communication networks in the country and the human rights situation following the crackdown after PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s arrest a day ago.
Shah said a “worrying situation” was seen being played out following Imran’s arrest. “Important the rule of law and democracy is protected,” she tweeted.
