SUKKUR: 25 health workers appointed

SUKKUR, Jan 17: District Nazim Syed Nasir Hussain Shah on Tuesday distributed appointment letters to 25 lady health workers at the office of the EDO, health, said an official press note.

Speaking on the occasion, the nazim asked the health workers to work hard and provide necessary information about health to the rural population in a door-to-door campaign.

ZAKAT FUND: An amount of Rs155,000 of Zakat was distributed among deserving people at open kutchehris in four Dehs of the district under the Guzara Allowance and the Permanent Rehabilitation and Dowry Fund.

According to a press note issued here on Tuesday, Rs40,000 was distributed among deserving people in Deh Abad, Rs25,000 in Deh Naseer Abad and Rs45,000 each in Deh Mubarakpur and Deh Belo Bagerji.

MEETING: DCO Shafiq Ahmad Khoso has convened a meeting of the district polio eradication committee at his office on Jan 19.
