KARACHI: The lawyers’ wing of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf on Monday took out a rally from the Sindh High Court building to the Supreme Court Karachi registry to express solidarity with Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Atta Bandial.

Holding placards and shouting slogans in support of the CJP and the apex court, members of the Insaf Lawyers Forum (ILF) reached the SC registry in a peaceful manner.

ILF leader Riaz Afandi said that the rally was taken out to express solidarity with the CJP, for independence of judiciary and supremacy of the Constitution.
