KARACHI: The provincial government has asked the Cantonment Board Clifton to repair the leaking water supply line on a top priority basis to avoid wastage of potable water.

Officials said that the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KW&SB) had asked the CBC that the provincial government and the water utility had taken serious notice on the wastage of water through leakages in the supply line from Ghazi/Chakra Goth pumping station.

The Chakra Goth station pumps water to the Ettihad pumping station for the residents of the CBC and DHA.

Earlier in November, the KWSB had sent a letter to the chief executive officer of the CBC asking him to plug the leakages forthwith.
