KARACHI, Jan 16: The University of Karachi on Monday announced the results of MSc (Home Economics) previous and final annual exams 2005.

In MSc (Home Economics) final annual exams 2005, Asra Jamal d/o Syed Ahmed Jamal seat no. 5719 of Raana Liaquat Ali Khan Govt. College of Home Economics stood first by securing 799 marks, Uzma Abbas Malik d/o of Mohammad Abbas Malik seat no. 5736 of the same college bagged second position by securing 747 marks and Qyratuain Asim d/o of Asim Mahmood seat no. 5733 of the same college clinched third position by obtaining 723 marks.

Statistics of the result shows that all 88 candidates registered with the KU appeared in the exams, of which 49 were declared passed in 1st division, 37 in 2nd division while one candidates was declared only passed in final exams only. The pass percentage remained at 97.72 per cent.

In MSc (Home Economics) previous annual exams 2005, 94 out of 95 candidates registered with the KU exams department appeared, of which 87 were declared passed with 92.55 as pass percentage.—PPI
