LAHORE: Adnan Tairanwala Pehlwan defeated Shahid Pochar Pehlwan to win the Jashan-i-Baharan Rustam-i-Punjab Dangal after a tough fight at Punjab Stadium on Friday.

Participants competed for 30 bouts in the presence of thousands of passionate fans.

Top national wrestlers demonstrated their desi kushti skills. In other main fights, Malu Pehlwan defeated Razzaq

Pehlwan, M Yar Pehlwan defeated Aftab Pehlwan while the fights of Ali and Sultan Pehlwan, Sajawal Goonga and Gullu Pehlwan and Heera and Ahmed Pehlwan finished without an outright winner.

As per other results, Maroof defeated Razaq, Junior Malu defeated Qamar Abbas, Ramzan defeated Asghar, and Qurban defeated Akaash. Hassan Ali was defeated by Shahbaz, while Zeeshan defeated Raheel Ilyas, Wajid Dasti defeated Jalal,

Bilal defeated Ghafoor, Raza defeated Current, Umair defeated Chota Khurram, Hasan defeated Shahzad, Mujahid defeated Beera, Haroon defeated Irfan, Waqas defeated Munna, Hafiz defeated Arslan, Mudassar defeated Zaheer, Billu Pehlwan defeated Hafiz Mamay Wala, and Khurram defeated Ramzan Kaka.

World Beach Wrestling Champion Inam Butt, Olympian Bashir Bhola Bhala, Sher-i-Punjab Shahid Khoey Wala, Pakistan Wrestling Federation Secretary Arshad Sattar, and Pakistan Desi Kushti Federation Chairman Shabbir Mughal were also present.

Sikh guests Coach Gurcharan Singh, Kalwant Singh and Santok Singh Mandhair and thousands of wrestling fans also witnessed the bouts.
