ISLAMABAD, Jan 13: President Gen Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz have sent messages of condolence to Sheikh Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa of Bahrain, expressing shock and grief over the death of his son in an accident. “It was with a deep sense of shock that I heard about the untimely demise of your son Shaikh Faisal bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in an accident,” President Musharraf said in his message to Sheikh Hamad.

“May Allah in His infinite mercy give the departed soul a place in paradise, and the ruler and his family the strength to bear the loss,” the president said in his message.

Mr Aziz said he was deeply grieved at the untimely demise of the youngest son of Bahrain’s ruler.

“Please accept my sincerest condolences on this grievous loss suffered by you and your family,” he said.—APP
